State of the Wench

I'll be honest, I will likely not keep up with Dreamwidth. I gave it a shot (about a week) but it is not to my liking.

What it boils down to is that I'm not a creator. I'm deeply involved with fandom and love seeing all the fics, art, theories and headcanons, but I rarely contribute to it. It's not that I don't want to, it's just not me and is something I've never really enjoyed doing. Creating is a chore for me, not a love. Having an account on here where I won't post (because I can't reblog or share) just to post comments to cheer on creators seems like a waste to me when there are other options out there.

So I will be sticking with Tumblr for now, and I'm going to keep an eye on PillowFort to see if it makes something of itself. Hopefully, I'll continue to see everyone I've found here on those platforms <3

I'm already having problems with the "where's the like / share button??" reaction after two days of being back here. The ability to "participate" passively in multiple fandoms at the same time- and just as easily being able to actively participate if you choose- was hands-down my favorite thing about Tumblr.
